Last night was the Crisis Centre Bollywood event and it was great!
I did go in and get some henna tattoos on my hands before the event, not really understanding what it involved! It only took about 15-20 minutes, but then it had to dry for about 2 hours! Both hands looked like the photo below, which made it impossible to do anything… so I had to call Richard (which was a challenge) and have him come and get me, then he had to help me in the car and put my seat belt on. Then 2 hours later I had to peal off the top layer of this. I also thought it would me much lighter- so my hands and arms are going to look like this for the next 2 weeks!
We came home and I did have to go over and get my neighbor to dress me for the event, but I think we looked pretty good!
The food was great (but not anywhere near as good as it was in India) and they had a great dance number.

We also bought some raffle tickets and won twice! A basket from a wine shop and a dinner for two!
