The kitties made the big move this morning! They are walking around exploring the new house… not quite sure what they think about it yet!

It was a long day (and early morning) but I finally got all the boxes unpacked. Not I have to go back for the next load…

So moving day isn’t usually a great day. Mine started out with rain forecast throughout the day. That I figured I could deal with. I didn’t want to be late to the closing so I loaded up the moving truck last night so I could head out first thing. Just as I got everything (I mean everything in the truck) I locked the keys in the truck. So I called emergency assistance and they said it would be at least an hour before they could get someone out. The problem was our closing appointment was in less than and hour and all the closing documents were now locked in the moving truck! They eventually got there and I stood out in the rain while they unlocked the truck.
I then had to reschedule all the people coming to work in the house today and I now hope to close at 1.
It will be a long evening unloading the truck and then getting back for a second trip in the morning…
Aaron took first place today! They ended with a 3 way tie and a birdie on the first and second playoff hole was enough for a win!

We are headed back out to watch Aaron play golf again today. I have to say being on the golf course is great- even if you are not golfing.
I had a lovely morning walk today. I first went down to the Glass Knife for breakfast.

Then I went for a walk by the lake on the way to the market.

Now it is off to a BBQ at our new house!

Last night we had a paint night at our apartment and of course drug Richard down to it. It was a log of fun, but I am not sure that we will be hanging up our artwork anytime soon!

The house is coming along. We now have water, electricity and hardwood floors!

I was leaving my clients office in Miami and pasted a field of cattle. It wasn’t something I expected to see!

We got up early and headed down to Innisbrook for some golf with Nick Leighton before Richard headed to the airport. It was a beautiful morning and the course was fairly empty- we got in 18 holes in 3 1/2 hours! I was lucky not to lose too many of my JCA golf balls…
