Christmas Day

So we have had an amazing day in NYC.

We started out the day by opening the gifts santa left in our stockings, then we got into our chocolates and popped open some champagne.  After breakfast we headed out for a walk around central park…. it was a bit cold in the shade, but as long as we stayed in the sun we were ok.

After heading back to our apartment for lunch (and our coats) we headed down to Radio City Music Hall with a few stops along the way.
The highlight of the day had to be the Rocketts Christmas Special, I have to say it was one of the best shows I have ever seen!  I was so sad when it was over- I wish we could go back and watch it again!

Kaibo Grill

Last night we took a walk down to Kaibo for a wonderful dinner at the restaurant above the bar.

We started with a drink downstairs, but as the mosquitos were out we moved upstairs for a drink at the bar before sitting down for dinner.

They had a huge cabinet of rum to choose from.  They boys each had a few glasses before dinner.

The food was amazing!   I had the lamb with some grilled okra.
Finally came the Birthday Boy’s cake!  
All this was followed up with a nice walk back to the condo.  A really amazing evening!

Richard and Avery

So, Avery joined us at Rum Point this weekend and of course Richard had to take her out for a walk on the beach (as you do with your kitten). But I am not sure who was taking who for the walk!

She just needed a good roll in the sand!  The result is she has been taking a bath all day!

 If Richard were taking Avery for the walk, I am pretty sure under the porch would not have been on the top of his list…

Week update

Last week seems to fly by with everything going on around Richard’s birthday.  We had a great party on Wednesday and the photos should be done soon.

Then Laura and Andrew arrived on Thursday and we headed up to Rum Point last night!  So this morning has been relaxing, relaxing and more relaxing.  Plans for the rest of the day include nothing!
