WHOLE LIFE CHALLENGE

Richard and I about to start on a whole Life challenge on Saturday. You might wonder what exactly is a Whole Life Challenge…

The Whole Life Challenge is an 8-week habit-changing game that challenges you to create happier, healthier lives by making small, daily changes.

We will score points every day, focusing on 7 key areas of health and well-being: Nutrition, Exercise, Mobility, Sleep, Hydration, Lifestyle Practices, and Reflection.

It is not going to be easy, but something I know we can both do!

Welcome home

So I come home today to pekoe with a descent sized lizard and the tail is gone…

Close to dead I think, so Avery jumps in to play with it for a few minutes. Pretty soon Yabbey figures out something is going on- walks to the dining room picks it up in her mouth and takes it to the other side of the room. Avery at this point can’t figure out where it wants and by the time she does Yabbey has eaten half of it!  
I probably should have taken it away before she ate it as I imagine I may have a sick cat tonight.

Big Day

Well the big day is finally here…  The Jingle Bell Run starts at 7 am.  The JBR is the biggest event for the crisis centre every year and this year it looks to be the largest yet with close to 500 people taking place!

We have put a lot of work into making the event great this year- lets home it turns out!  Richard has been such a good sport as our living room has been race central for the last month!
