Yesterday we took some clients to the Honda Classic in Miami and we spent the day in the Gosling Rum bear trap. Unfortunately that meant drinking some Dark and Stormy’s!
The course was beautiful and we had a great time.

Pekoe joined me for my morning meditation today!
I decided to take myself to the movie tonight and went to an early show. Funny enough I was the only one in the theater!
I didn’t bother to put my phone on silent…

It is amazing how quickly the house is coming together! We will be moving before we know it!

I am so glad I am able to start getting out and walking. I have a new goal of walking 10,000 steps a day. Whilst this may not be much for some it is quite a bit for me after having the bones fused in my foot.
To pass the time while walking I have been listening to podcasts and todays was especially interesting. This mornings podcast was a Buddism guide to Mindfulness. It really reminded me that we have so much we really don’t appreciate. Our mind seems to wonder on to the next thing vs appreciating what we are currently doing.
We have to enjoy the current moment vs always planning for the future because we can’t control the future, but we can control the current moment.
So after my yearly medical I qualified for the Zurich diet plan… which I didn’t expect. So I have 12 weeks of weekly calls and I get a wellness kit. funny enough it arrived today with a special plate.

Unfortunately it arrived on Valentines Day and Broadstone gave us all a breakfast treat. Donuts from the Glass Knife, so I couldn’t say no. I am not sure it fits on my new diet plan!

The dr said I should stay on my crutches, but my foot is feeling really good! I went for a walk this morning- 2 miles! It is sore I am not going to lie, but I think I did ok for my first walk. It is a beautiful morning out.

Last night Lilly and I got out and painted some pottery for the first time. It was a lot of fun! Each kitty will get a new food dish in about a week!

We had our next inspection yesterday for the new townhouse. It is coming along nicely.

All the electrical, plumbing, HVAC are in and drywall will start next week!
We were lucky enough to get to have breakfast with Candi and Kristie who are down in Florida visiting. To make everything better Richard was able to experience his first breakfast at Cracker Barrel! I have to say it had probably 20 years since I had been in one (they haven’t changed).

They still have the golf tee game on the tables. Unfortunately we were unable to figure it out, but Kristie was kind enough to get one for Richard to take home!
