I knew it got chilly in Orlando… didn’t realize it got this cold!

I made Richard go to the Highland games here in Orlando yesterday with me. Let’s just say it was an interesting day! We saw a few people in wearing outfits they clearly shouldn’t be wearing (I wish I couldn’t have taken a few photos) and some different events. I think the most shocking thing was the number of people that attended! I don’t think you will see us at another one anytime soon…

Yesterday I made it around the building on my walk. Today I made it around the pond as well! I know they are small steps, but every day I try to do a little more.

We have our tickets! I know Richard is excited for Saturday…
We were looking for a place to get something to eat after the gardens and found this place on google maps

The actual place only served drinks, but they had a variety of food trucks around to chose from. It was a great lunch!

Today we went to the Ribbit Exhibit at Leu Gardens. It was almost 81 outside, so we figured it would be good to get out for a walk!

My foot is getting better… slowly. It is amazing how much muscle I have lost in my left leg and how much I have gained in my right leg! The next appointment is on Monday- hopefully I will begin to be able to put some weight on it!

Christmas Eve consisted of mimosas, cheese and s’mores by the pool.

For the first time I made a gingerbread house! Lily and I went to aprons cooking school so we didn’t have to make the gingerbread- just the decorations.
I think for a first attempt we did fairly well.

Here is the after

Just waiting for Richard to arrive!
