The Foreign Experience

Last night I went to Melts on Main for a pop up restaurant with Chef Bruno Fonsca. He is originally from Brazil but has been in the US for about 20 years. Typically it is an interactive dinner sitting at the bar watching him prepare the food, but due to Covid we had to sit at tables. It happens once a month, so I will definitely make it a habit to going!

It was a bit odd going on my own as it was a date night for everyone else there, but the food was amazing so definitely worth it!

Not a lot of excitement

There hasn’t been a lot going on around here with everything going on. The cats are keeping me busy and I have really been enjoying my Peloton bike.

I have been working on my Legos in the evenings. This is probably my favorite build.

Here are some random photos of the cats as you can see they are having a tough time these days

Switch places

I would love to switch places with Richard right about now. I could be sitting on the patio drinking a glass of wine looking at the lake.

But I am here dealing with this:

We had a toilet that kept backing up in our house. Turns out there was a cap that got stuck in one of the pipes during construction- 4 hours later it is still there. They have moved it and lost it in the plumbing a few times, but it is still in the pipes somewhere!
