Emma J

So I had great plans on Friday to get the house cleaned up for when Richard got home today… unfortunately this little girl needed help. So I asked Richard what he thought and he said to go and get her!

She is 2 months old and a little over 2 lb. and has a bit of a chest infection I am thinking.

She is just the sweetest little thing, happy to sleep away on me!

Pantry and Utility Room

When we moved in we had the standard closet organizers in the pantry and nothing in the laundry room knowing that I wanted to personalize the space. I took out the shelves and painted the areas happy colors, possibly a bit bold.

It is not a secret that I love the Container Store, so they were the obvious choice for the spaces. They were installed yesterday and I got to organizing the spaces.

I was thrilled with how they turned out and they are going to function perfect for us!

Even the kitties got an update with an accent wall by their litter boxes!

Today’s cycle

I need to work on my cardio and speed on the bike so I can keep up with Richard so this morning I wanted to work on it.

I didn’t really have a plan but I did cycle faster (and was very tired). It was my fastest time for 10 miles, so that is good.

I think next time I will figure the longest distance between 2 road crossings and focus on keeping up my speed for that time.

MS 150

I signed up for the MS 150 bike ride in November, so training started today. We did 15 miles which was 5 miles further than I went the previous week.

It will be a challenge for me to cycle 150 miles for sure (assuming I make it the full distance)!

After we stopped for breakfast on Plant Street in Winter Garden before heading home to see the kitties.
