We are making progress… there is now a place to sit and eat. We have a TV, but no cable yet. Richard has been working hard the last few days! This afternoon we may and relax a bit. Sadly I have to take Richard to the airport in the morning….

Leaving Cayman
It is sad to be leaving Cayman after spending 10 years here, but also excited to be starting a new chapter!
Broken Pipes
So Sunday ended with a broken pipe behind the wall downstairs. The plumber said we were lucky it was on the first floor… it didn’t help me feel better as they were cutting holes in my walls trying to find the pipe that was leaking!
Eventually they found it and got it fixed. Now I just have to wait for the walls to dry out so they can re-drywall and paint. Then put the house back together!
Kimpton Brunch
We enjoyed a wonderful brunch with the Crawshaw crew at the Kimpton. It was our first time from brunch there and they didn’t disappoint. We both really loved the sushi and fish selection.
About the only downside was some of the sweets. Most of them were just missing a little something, but they were presented amazing.
We finished the afternoon with a little rainstorm and then some beautiful weather!
Richard also had a little fun with his napkin keeping his hair dry during the rain! I am not sure how successful he was!
Saltwater Grill
Last night we tried a new restaurant called saltwater grill. I have to say it was not the best food. My starter was pretty tasteless and I ordered a pasta for my main. The pasta came from a box, so I wasn’t thrilled.
About the only good thing was my donuts at the end of the night.
Not sure we will be in a rush to go back.
Construction
Once again the house is under construction… we are getting some of the little things fixed that we have just avoided having done!
It is frustrating, but coming along nicely. I think in the end it will all be worth it.
Rugby Saturday
Saturday was up and down for rugby. First we watched England lose to South Africa at Fidel’s.
Then it was off to watch a live match- Cayman vs Bermuda. Luckily Cayman came out with a win!
Running
Today was my first day back running. I have to say it wasn’t easy, but I had to start someplace.
Almost finished
The final coat of paint and now it is all just putting it back together!
Today’s projects
So I had a few projects I needed to get done. I made some progress, but still have more work to do…
The flower pots are mostly done.
Unfortunately I still have some painting to finish.
The Johnsons
