Food and Wine- Day 1

We started out in Thailand with the marinated chicken with peanut sauce and stir-fried vegetables. It may not photograph the best, but the sauce was amazing. We paired this with a Singha lager.
We had a bit of a downpour in Mexico, but our umbrella kept my chocolate bread pudding with a chocolate abuelita creme anglaise. Once again delicious and worth getting wet in the rain for!
In China we went for a mala chicken and shrimp bao bun with a Jasmine beer. It was good, but not something we would probably get again.
In India we went for mango lassi, which really wasn’t good. Clint got the naan bread with pickled garlic, mango salsa and coriander pesto dips, definitely a better choice.
For the first time we got to ride Test Track! We will definitely do this again. Richard designed our car and we didn’t win, but I think he figured out how to improve his design for next time.
We headed out all very full, we have quite a bit more to try from the festival, so we will be back soon!

Emma J

So I had great plans on Friday to get the house cleaned up for when Richard got home today… unfortunately this little girl needed help. So I asked Richard what he thought and he said to go and get her!

She is 2 months old and a little over 2 lb. and has a bit of a chest infection I am thinking.

She is just the sweetest little thing, happy to sleep away on me!

Busy few days

It has been a busy few days around here. It all started on Friday when I picked up my new car (I ordered it in Feb).

Unfortunately I had drove it less than 100 miles when I was hit by this Semi…. I was extremely lucky and not hurt, but a bit shook up when I saw this grill in my driver side window as I was being pushed down the highway.
