So we had a bit of wasted space in our bedroom and decided to order some cabinets and we are close to finishing it off (just need some shelves)

I think it has really added some personality of the room.

I think it has really added some personality of the room.

The cats seem happy with their new play house on the wall.

They installed the new cabinets in our bedroom yesterday and we really like them. It was such a wasted space before they put them in.
The cats were inspected them and gave them their seal of approval!
This morning I woke to a flooded bathroom… and I of course had nobody to call to come fix it.
Luckily last week I was in Home Depot as saw a wet/dry vacuum on sale and I thought it might come in handy in the garage. Well I am glad I did as I took out 2 1/2 gallons of water from the bathroom floor.
After the water was cleaned up it was a trip to target to get cleaning supplies for the mess. Two hours later it was all cleaned up.
Then I started on my project for the morning- installing the cat door for the laundry room. I got the door off the hinges without much problem and out to the garage, traced the cut out on the door and got out our new saw. A new saw that doesn’t come with a battery, So I had to go back to the store and get the battery!
An hour later I was home- the hole took less than 3 min to cut out.

I got the door hung back up and the kitties seem to like it (it did take Ziggy a bit of time to figure it out)! Now we can keep the laundry room door closed and they can get to their food and litter boxes.

Last night one of the locals told me about this local farmers store. So after I went to the office I decided to take a quick run by. It was a great little store! They have their own meat, eggs and produce. Then they partner with other small farms to sell their products.
The unfortunate thing is the kale was freshly picked and came with some lady bugs as a freebie!
I will definitely be back next week!

The cats have definitely settled into their new home! They love the patio and all the space to run around d inside the house.

It has been a long week as I was sick the first 3 days of the week, but I am finally back up and well!

I tried a local spot called The Attic. It is a local wine bar- they have a great happy hour and live music on Wednesday through Saturday nights.
The food is basic, but good and the servers are great (and the wine isn’t bad either)!
Sitting here at the bar I met an guy from Ireland who works at the bar. Then I met another couple from London who are here part time. Unfortunately they are back to London on Tuesday, but will be back here in August so we can catch up when Richard is here.
Today we made good progress, we got a lot of the artwork up, the blinds purchases and hung every box is empty!
The contractors were also here to finish the garage floor.
It is starting to look like our home!

The kitties made the big move this morning! They are walking around exploring the new house… not quite sure what they think about it yet!

It was a long day (and early morning) but I finally got all the boxes unpacked. Not I have to go back for the next load…
