How lucky
Good bye
Next Challenge
I am starting to pack up for my next challenge. I leave on Sunday and I think it may be the toughest thing I have ever attempted to do.
Here is what has been said and what I can expect everyday for the week I am there…
“Here’s a typical Ashram day: 5:45 a.m. wake-up call; 6:30 a.m. yoga; 7:30 a.m. breakfast with herbal tea. Followed by bandaging of feet, application of lip balm and sunblock, filling of water bottles, packing of carrots and celery, and a mountain hike for up to five hours. Followed by weight training, a massage, exercise in the pool, water polo, more yoga and meditation, dinner. Then a lecture or pep talk. Eight-thirty-ish, fall into bed, half dead.”
Race Photos and official time
Official Stats:
Birthday afrernoon
1/2 Marathon
The race went really well this morning. I got to the start line and decide to run with the 12:45 pace group and they were great. So good that at mile 9 I felt like I had just warmed up! So I took off on my own and finished strong. No pain in the feet or legs, just one blister on my little toe!
Mile 11- Richard was there to greet me!
Packet pick up.
We arrived only a bit late got our rental car and made it up to our hotel. Then we took a little walk to go an pick up my race packet. I have to say it is a bit windy here!
I have everything ready to go for the 6:45 in the morning.

Last day
Today is the last day for our whole life challenge… I was really happy to have Richard along with me on the last 56 days! I am also extremely proud of Richard for completing the challenge as I know it is now always the easiest to make healthy choices.
