1/2 Marathon
The race went really well this morning. I got to the start line and decide to run with the 12:45 pace group and they were great. So good that at mile 9 I felt like I had just warmed up! So I took off on my own and finished strong. No pain in the feet or legs, just one blister on my little toe!
Mile 11- Richard was there to greet me!
Packet pick up.
We arrived only a bit late got our rental car and made it up to our hotel. Then we took a little walk to go an pick up my race packet. I have to say it is a bit windy here!
I have everything ready to go for the 6:45 in the morning.

After the run I am looking forward for a relaxing afternoon at the pool finished!
Productive morning
I had hoped I could sleep in a bit getting in so late last night, but that was not the case. So I got up around 5 and went out for a run. It was a bit cold out for me (60F). I did have a little pain in my hip, which is a bit concerning…so I only ran 6 miles.
I ended up stopping for breakfast at this place called Snooze. The original one is in Boulder and Jenny’s favorite breakfast spot. I think we go every time I visit. So I was really excited to see one here! I now have an amazing breakfast and I think I will be back in the morning for it again!
